Peterlee Magistrates' Courts, County Durham

Working alongside Michael Hyde and Associates, Chartered Architects, Castalia Designs Ltd were appointed by Carillion Building to manufacture and install bespoke Court Room furniture in the newly built Magistrates' Courts in Peterlee, County Durham.

The interior design contract included manufacture and installation of Magistrates' Benches, Advocates' and Press Desks and secure docks, together with fixed seating to the main courtroom.

In addtion, Castalia Designs provided all the office desking, seating display boards and ancilliary items to the buildings, including loose furniture to the informal court.
