Castalia Designs were asked to individually design four duplex suites, based on Granada TV Productions, Moll Flanders, The Grand, Brideshead Revisited and Cracker.

Rough plaster walls, beams to ceilings and walls and specialist made timber candlesticks are just a few of the unique features. The design of furniture was thoroughly researched and manufactured specially, incorporating the usual "modcons" expected in today's modern hotel, such as mini bar unit, TV cabinet, and overhead lighting incorporated into the half tester bed canopy.

An old tin tub may be more in keeping with the era, but housekeeping objected and a compromise was reached!!
