Castalia Designs were asked to design and build a new entrance to Sherlock Holmes Restaurant separating Watsons Bar from the restaurant area.

Handmade bricks were used to closely match the original brickwork dating back to 1844. The existing columns were painted and dressed with dried birch, wrought iron tree guards were manufactured and fixed, and external street lanterns were fitted to give an exterior courtyard feel to the area.

Castalia Designs Limited were contracted to refurbish Watsons Bar and Mrs Hudson's conservatory. The works included decoration, flooring, window treatments, lighting, lounge and dining furniture.
